Halloween Share

Haunting wheeled across bottom and lots of shimmer added before adding the image from Batty for You.

Slide the top of the card around and move it to the top.

The top moves above to reveal a gift card.
I vowed that I would not start posting Halloween projects until at least the end of September, but I just can't stand it.  Halloween is perhaps my favorite holiday and I'm already very much thinking about the cards I'm going to send, the class I'm teaching, and the way I'm going to decorate the condo.  Last Halloween I had just moved 3,000 miles from Florida to Oregon and I was surrounded by a pile of boxes and had a long list of things to be done.  This year I can enjoy the holiday, so I'm starting early to make up for last year.  hehe   This is a preview of sorts because I probably won't be adding more Halloween stuff for a few more weeks.  Hold tight... I promise it's coming.

Please enjoy this set of convention cards from the Stampin' Up National Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.  They really inspire me and put me into the mood to do some rubber stamping.  Enjoy!

Sorry I've been neglecting the blog.  I'm still having dental issues, but the good news is that I've scheduled an appointment with another dentist for a 2nd opinion.  Yeah!  :)  I'm still digging through the stacks of card ideas and slowly getting them added to the blog.  Here's another group of 5.  Enjoy.

I'm going back to see the dentist today.  Keep your fingers crossed that I leave feeling better.  Meanwhile, please enjoy casing these swaps I received at the Stampin' Up National Convention.

Notepad & Pen

The butterflies were part of the paper and glittery and embossed too.
I needed a gift so I made an Asian-style notepad cover and decorative pen.  I didn't use Stampin' Up products (gasp!  lol) but rather a piece of paper I purchased at a scrapbooking convention earlier this year.  I've tried to use it several times, but since it cost so much I always decide to save it.  hehe  Anyway, I think the project looks beautiful.  The photo images do not capture the texture and embossing as they should, but it's still lovely.

I am happy to announce I've found a great location for our groups to meet for scrapbooking and card crafting.  Now that we have a "home" I'm beginning to plan for this fall's classes.  If you have a special request for class topics, now is is the time to contact me so I can include that in my curriculum.  Thanks again to Captain White and Julia Fritts for finding and offering the space for such a nominal fee.  :)

Jackie Beers, GA

Amy Cloncs, IN

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days.  I cracked my tooth and ended up having my first crown.  I don't know what's worse, the pain of the sore tooth/gum or the pain of using money I planned to spend on rubber stamps to pay the dentist.  At least I have a huge stack of beautiful cards to comfort me.  hehe  Enjoy!
