Stampin' with a baby wipe
When traveling and taking stamps with me, I often leave my scrubber at home and instead use baby wipes to clean my stamps between uses. I think many people use baby wipes to clean stamps, but did you also know you can use them for stamping too? It's easy and gives a different look to your stamped image. All you do it fold up a baby wipe and put drops of ink from reinkers onto the wipe in a random pattern. (It looks a little like you're doing tie dye at the time.) Then use the inked baby wipe to ink up your image and stamp onto glossy cardstock. It gives a muted color that is a combination of the colors you used. It's fun to experiment to see what color creations you like the best. I stamped the flower stem/leaves with this technique. Then I just colored in the flower image, cut it out, and popped it up on top with a dimensional.
