Hello card made by Deanna Einarson
Hello my friends! I have made it home from the annual Stampin' Up National Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I LOVE convention. I love spending time with other demonstrators, watching stage presentations, taking classes, swapping cards, and getting fresh new ideas to bring home and share with you! I had a great time. There was only one small setback... I got sick. If you have known me for any amount of time, you know this is common. I go on vacation and I always end up sick. It's a curse. I usually blame my illness on recirculated airplane air, however, this time I can't do that since we drove to Utah. lol I left home early (too early in my opinion!) on Friday and came down with cold symptoms on Tuesday. Unfortunately the convention began on Wednesday. I was sort of in a fog the entire 4 days. It's good I took pictures of things, because my brain wasn't functioning. lol Anyway, I still had a great time. I met a new friend, Lauri, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I called us the "injured reserve" Stampin' Up demonstrators, as I had a sinus/respiratory infection and she had a severe sprained ankle complete with the boot. I was happy to find someone moving slower and a little miserable, like me! lol
I have a TON of cards to share and I will be doing so over the next several weeks. I got the best swap cards EVER this year and I think you'll enjoy seeing them. Since I'm still trying to fight off the "vacation curse cold," I probably won't begin the postings until early next week. :) Thanks for being patient.

On a final note, there is still time to sign up for the FREE New Catalog party. I'm taking registrations through Friday because the event is scheduled for Monday night. Drop me a note at svzhong@gmail.com if you want to attend. :)
