I love the Button Buddies stamp set because of it's versatility. I decided to make a card for fall with the flower from the set. I used Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz. I could have done it without the buttons and just popped up the center of the flower, but I love the way the Cajun Craze buttons look. They add a whimsical and rustic look to the card.
On another note, I spent a great long weekend at a scrapbooking retreat in Grayland, Washington. It was nice to have girlfriend time while making some really nice scrapbook projects. I was also delighted to find out that this past weekend they have a really big annual garage sale that spans for something like 35 miles. It was hard to tear myself away from scrapbooking, but I did it and I went out and found some great deals. One of my favorite things I purchased was this wooden easel for $.25. You'll now be seeing alot of it when I photograph the cards.
