Recycled Giftwrap
The annual Christmas party for my husband's employer is tonight. Every year there is a gift exchange and while I have the gift, I haven't purchased any wrapping paper. Although I usually throw it away, I decided to recycle some brown packing paper that came in my last Stampin' Up order. I cut it to size and stamped images from Snow Swirled Christmas all over the paper. Then, since it was already somewhat crinkled, I crinkled it some more, smoothed it out and wrapped the gift. I decided to use some of the Frostwood Lodge DSP to make a bow and I mostly followed the instructions from Splitcoast Stampers. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/dsp_bow/ I was about to make the gift tag when my husband called and said the company wasn't doing the gift exchange this year. Hmm.. guess I will just save this for next year. lol
