I didn’t buy this die when it first appeared in the Occasions Mini Catalog because I had heard horror stories about how it didn’t cut out all the pieces or that it was too time consuming to use. I like quick crafting, so I thought it wasn’t for me. However, the more I saw it used, the more I liked it. I broke down and ordered the die which is $21.95. I have to say that it does have a learning curve, but I love the cuts! I made this card using it as my background in Pear Pizazz and even used it as an overlay for the diecut butterfly. Did it take some time? I have to admit it did. I found that I needed to use a shim so it would cut all the way through my paper. The time consuming part, however, is popping out all the little pieces. I gently rolled my paper and the larger pieces fell away, but the small ones required some work. I put the doily on a foam mat and use my paper piercer to push out the pieces. It only took me about 5 minutes and the results were SO worth every minute. If it’s not part of your die collection, I highly recommend it. If you have it, please share your thoughts here.
