This year I made my mom a simple, watercolored card. It was nice not to have to worry about whether I’d need extra postage because of bulky embellishments and my mom loved it. (Granted, she’s a bit partial. She loves every card I make for her.) I used StazOn ink for the sentiment and flowers since I knew I’d be watercoloring and I didn’t want them to run. Usually I avoid using StazOn with my photopolymer stamps, but I decided to make an exception this time for my mom.
Have a great Mother’s Day weekend! While I’m not a mom to a human, I am a doggie mom, so I plan to celebrate the holiday. I suspect I’ll get some wet, sloppy, furry kisses tomorrow, but then again, I get those every day.
