Pocket Cards

I’ve been on a kick lately of doing this pocket cards.  They are easy to make and look a little different than a regular card.  I used the Butterfly Basics stamp set (138816) as decoration, but this card would look great with other things too.  I liked it so much I’m making 50 of them for a convention swap.

And speaking of crafting, there comes a time every year when I just get burned out.  I don’t know if it’s because of the catalog transition from one year to another or if it’s because I’m always making hundreds of cards this time of year.  Regardless, I’m tired of papercrafting.  As such, I’m taking a break.  (Well, I still have to finish those swap cards, but then I’m done for a while.)  Maybe I’ll learn to knit?  Or maybe I’ll learn to can vegetables?  Regardless, I’m just stepping away from paper crafting for a little while.  I’ll continue to update this site from time to time, but it will not be on a regular basis for at least a month (and maybe a little more.)  I’m still here if you need me.  You can email or call.  I’ll still be sending out rebate checks (I already have some “thank you” cards made and ready to send!)

Meanwhile, enjoy the summer!
